What are AAMI Level guidelines, and how do I choose the right gown?
AAMI guidelines classify surgical wear into four levels (1–4) based on the risk associated with a medical procedure. Level 1 is for basic care with minimal fluid risk, while AAMI Level 4 is designed for high-risk procedures and is totally impervious to blood-borne pathogens and synthetic blood penetration.
Are SteriAttire products manufactured in a sterile environment?
Yes. All our products are produced in a state-of-the-art ISO Class 8 in-house cleanroom facility. To ensure the highest safety standards, we utilize an in-house ETO (Ethylene Oxide) sterilization facility, meeting the rigorous demands of global healthcare professionals.
What makes your ESD garments specialized for cleanrooms?
Our Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD) garments are engineered from fabric that is 100% lint-free and features very low particle shedding. These garments are tested to EN 1149-5:2018 standards and are designed to protect production lines from static discharge and foreign contamination.

Yes. Our reusable range includes surgical gowns, patient suits, and scrubs made from vat-dyed, shrink-free 100% cotton or poly-cotton fabrics. These products are autoclavable, bleach-resistant, and wrinkle-free, ensuring long-lasting protection through repeated use.
What is Breathable Viral Barrier (BVB) technology?
BVB technology uses a robust multi-layer composite material that acts as a non-porous shield resistant to all pathogens and viruses. Despite being totally impervious, the material is highly breathable, allowing moisture vapor to pass through for wearer comfort during long procedures.
